Moving the River City Star!

June, 2013

The riverboat formerly known as the Belle of Brownville started its six-hour trek up the Missouri River from Plattsmouth's marina early Thursday morning.  The 72-foot luxury excursion riverboat was "ship wrecked" during the Missouri River Flood of 2011.  Scrib's Moving & Heavy Hauling was hired to move the riverboat from where it was "ship wrecked" to the Plattsmouth dock.  From there, we would lower it into the water and a hired tug would pull the riverboat to 151 Freedom Park Road where it will be permanently docked.  Check out our Facebook Page for more photos!
